Your Best Health Is In Your Breath

We are a nation of overbreathers and mouth breathers.

And it is one of the biggest things for chronic health issues.

Nutrition comes in at #9. Fitness in at #11.

Certain forms of exercise should NOT be done until breathing improves.

Walking should be done by everyone, especially when done outside with naked eyes and as naked skin as possible. I just got back from my shirtless and shorts walk with my dogs. I do it every morning and 95% in either the early afternoon or early evening depending on the season.

As I walk, especially with myself my mouth is always closed. I practiced 5 or 6 sets of the steps exercise. The steps exercise perform a small inhale through nose and small exhale through nose as well, then hold breath and count number of steps you take before needing breath. You should create an air deficit each time. When regaining your regular breathing back attempt to do so with a closed mouth and use nasal breathing only. 

We must learn to breathe better. It starts with closing your mouth. 

 Below is a video of me performing a breathing exercise while stuck in traffic. Breathing can be done anywhere and should become conscious again so we can become the best breather and best version of ourself.

Are you ready for 2021?
.
2020 to 2021

.
Big changes coming, right?

.
Not for most people.

.
What’s the difference between 12/31 to 1/1 compared to 3/16 to 3/17 or 5/9 to 5/10 or 11/3 to 11/4.

.
Nothing. But we’ve been programmed to believe it will bring change.

.
You don’t change, nothing will. Bottom line.

.
Resolutions suck.

>
There was 360 plus days this year for you to get better. DId you? Or did you complain, and whine like a little bitch?
.
Nothing will be different in 2021 if you are not different. ANd that is the bottom line.
.
Set goals, smash Mr. Resistance in the face and conquer the rest of 12/31/20. Then do the same for 1/1/21, 1/2/21, 1/3/21 and so on………
.
Everyday we must focus on getting better. Even just one small thing is a huge step forward.
.
Put positive habits in and eliminate or reduce the number of negative habits. Until finally one day you wake up and you have more positive habits than you do negative habits.
.
It is a process.
.
It is a road that less travel.
.

But it is the road that will fill you with joy for living and happiness.
.
Because happiness is not achieved when you reach your ultimate goal…….it is achieved in the journey of becoming.
.
I have no ultimate goal because I know I will be getting and setting new goals as I keep climing my personal Mount Everest.
.
If we do not keep climbing we will be taken by Mr. Resistance. Sometimes all the way back down the mountain. SOmetimes even beneath the mountain.
.
Mr. Resistance makes no special treatment for anyone. There are no VIPs. Every person you know who has achieved their life  because they resisted Mr. Resistance and eventually overcome.
.
But when some make it to the top, some get dragged back down and you never hear from them again……..whatever happened to s0-and-so……… Mr. Resistance must be fought off everyday.
.
As Mick said to Rocky in Rocky III- ‘The worst thing that happened to you, that can happen to any fighter….you got civilized.’

Don’t get civilized. Keep fighting.

The Year Of The Mind- 2020 versus 2021 (Jason Yun)

As we get set for 2021 in just a few short days–many people are hoping that a change in number will result in a change for the world……… in terms of what the world is going through.

2020 was an awesome year. 

2021 will be an awesome year. 

Or it can go like this:

2020 completely sucked 

2021 hopefully be different. 

Mindset matters most. 

It’s not 2020 that sucked or was awesome. It is your state of mind that either sucks or is awesome.

Me………I’m the healthiest and strongest (pound for pound) I’ve ever been.

You have to set your routines to make the change happen, otherwise it doesn’t happen.

To build a masterpiece takes time.

To build your immune system takes time and practice exposing it to things that challenge it.

Same thing with your muscular system.

Same thing with your mind.

Unfortunately, we live in a micro-wave world where people have the mindset of why bake at 350 degrees for an hour, when I can microwave it 5:00 and be done……..but oh the damage done……and you won’t truly realize it until things start falling apart.

It’s up to you to build it.

Build your own Field of Dreams. Whatever that Dream is. 

If you don’t start building then you can expect much the same as 2020.

Jason Yun presents: The 34-day Light Challenge

Jason Yun has just announced his first ever 34-Day Light challenge.

Yun officially ‘retired’ from being  fitness and nutrition guru to focus on light in 2019.

The 1st 34-Day Light Challenge begins in early December 2020 and will be held periodically throughout the year 2021 and on. However, anybody can enter at anytime and start their introduction to light. More specifically sunlight and blue light.

There will be information about hormones, melatonin, vitamin A, DHA, and much more.

Amazingly Light, not food or exercise, is the driving force for human biology and health. Far from what you will hear from the traditional personal trainer, or nutritionist. That is what Yun thought and taught. He didn’t have the right teacher shining his flashlight in the areas he needed to look.

This challenge will teach you all the basics about light, both good and bad, along with a host of other things to help make you reach your optimal health,” says creator of the Light Challenge Yun. Participants of the 34-day Light Challenge can expect to gain energy, sleep better, mental clarity improvement, disease reversal, lose weight, add muscle, shred body fat, and look better naked.

Everybody Needs A Coach

Everybody Needs A Coach

A coach should be able to take you to a new level. Sometimes the person being coached will eventually surpass the coach. Patience.

Something Zach Even-Esh always says is ‘Weak people hate strong people.’

And it is true.

I don’t understand when someone is giving this life that they completely waste it.

Life should be a constant improvement.

Now granted I had my moments where I completely sucked. I was an indoor zoo animal, I ate like crap, got no sun, went to work in a dead-end job, came home and watched tv or movies the rest of the night and repeat.

I got in that mess because I followed traditional advice.

That’s the advice of the weak.

That’s the advice to settle. Not to question anything.

That’s why you have to find someone who lives differently.

It isn’t hard to find.

I talk about coaches all the time. You don’t need to know them. They don’t even need to know that they are your ‘coach’.

Don’t have motivation: Go to a seminar youtube: tony robbins, david goggins, eric thomas, Les brown, Zig ziglar, and on and on.

Don’t have or know your purpose: Find a book on it (just not on kindle-stay off the tech)

Don’t know what to eat? Hire a nutritionist, join one of my challenges, hire me. read a book, etc…

Out of shape? Hire a trainer. Join my programs. Read a book. Etc…..

Suck at your job or hate it? Find a business coach, watcha webinar on youtube, write a better resume by finding something to show you how, start a side business to take you out of it.

You suck as a parent-– hire a parenting coach, read a book, attend a workshop, etc…

Your child is slow and sucks at sports? Hire a coach. Join my program. watch a video. Find out why they are slow and find the solution.

Your midset sucks and are anxious and worried all the time? Find a meditation guru. Go to yoga class. Hire a life coach, etc…..

Your sleep sucks– get a sleep coach or doc, read a book, watch a video, read a blog…..just don’t take melatonin or sleep meds.

All of these are examples of coaches that can be in you life.

Once you have them they should help get the ball rolling in the right direction.

Momentum

More momentum

It keeps building up, so you become better.

If you are not focusing on getting better then you are getting worse.

One coach isn’t enough. Maybe it is when you are starting off

So find that one area you are sick and tired of sucking at and go.

Go find someone or something that can help you.

A pad and pencil can be a coach.

Don’t settle for being the same as you were yesterday. Because more then likely there are people relying on you.

Change doesn’t happen until you start doing things differently.

Let’s go!

Conquer the day. And remember change will never happen permanetly if you are unhealthy. Health coach is one should have.
